A Cup of Thanks

Happy Friday!
The sun is shining here and I have a fun morning planned, but before I get to that, I wanted to pop in and quickly share these cards.

I just love combining seasonal papers and themes for Thank You cards...In addition to sending a note of gratitude, it's a way to brighten someones day with a splash of color that is just right for the season.

I used the remaining bits of my beloved Kaisercraft collection to make these two cards, and one of them has already found a happy home :) I'm adding the second card to the Shoppe so that it too, can find a it's way to a happy recipient :)

I used Stampin' Up stamps for the little tea-cup and sentiment. I don't remember the name of this set...The name "Tea Time" seems to be on my mind, but I just can't be sure. If anyone knows the name of this set, please feel free to share in the comments :)

I used a bit of blush lace to add some texture to all the layers of paper, and a couple of sparkly rhinestones, too.

Just under the sentiment, I used PTI's Limitless Layers: Circles, to cut the scalloped yellow paper, and the white cardstock circle, which I adhered to it.

This next card uses Papertrey Ink's Think Big Favorites #18: Mini stamp set, Purls of Wisdom stamp set, and the Sweet Baby stamp set.

At the top of the card, I used die-cuts from PTI's Doily Details, and WPlus9's Quilt Cuts 1 die for the peach Dresden outline. I used the inside tear-drop shapes to form the design around the Thank You sentiment, which I also embellished with liquid pearls, paper punches and rhinestones.

A layer of vellum adds a touch of sheer dimension, and the pearls on top of the card are balanced out with the stitched button on the bottom.

I've got a biiig to-do list today, and I am hoping after all that is done, I'll get a few minutes to photograph all the new Shoppe goodies.

You have no idea how excited I am to finally unveil! Rows upon rows of rainbow-colored embellies lay all over my scraproom as we speak...Oodles of ribbons, buttons, miniature felties and so, so much more! I can hardly wait to share them all with you! I'll be back to post all the details before this coming weeks end!

Have a happy day :)

xo
