Birthday Stamps - Pinkfresh, Neat and Tangled + Altenew | Product Feature
Hey friends! Double the fun today! It's my birthday, and it's also time for another installment of Monday Favorites!
So excited to share because for my Birthday, I received a shower of stamps from my sweet hunny! I've played with a few of these already so they've been on my list for a while, and I was sooo excited to open my bday gift and see these! I tell ya - feeling pretty spoiled. I don't even know how he pulled this off - because I was tracking these goodies in my cart. No note, no dropping hints...nada! Ok maybe just on the blog...:) Sneaky, sneaky, he is. But oh-so-incredibly-thoughtful!
Obvs these are current favorites so I'm sharing them with you all! Here they are.
And dies.
I am itching to ink these up and play with a bit of watercolor. You can see newer cards I've made with these here, here, and here.
I can't wait to share sooo many cards in the weeks to come with these beauties, so stay tuned! Here is just one for now.
For this card, I used the gorgeous Fleur 1 stamps from Pinkfresh Studio. I am sooo happy to have this stamp set in my collection finally! Love it to bits.
I used a combination of colors and papers for this card for a multi-layered effect and to show off how fun these pretty florals can be when stamped in different ways!
To start, I stamped a flower on each corner of the cardstock base, and embossed it in white.
I used a soft pink watercolor wash to add some color around the flowers, and a bit more concentrated color to the petals themselves.
I used a scalloped oval die to cut out the center of the card base.
At the top of the card, I added a metallic rose gold ribbon, and a sequin flower, as well as a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in white.
To back the card, I used a striped pink pattern, which I overlayed with a heart printed vellum. I really wanted to use the pretty florals with a heap of color but without all the florals being watercolored, so I stamped an oval floral design onto the vellum, in two different shades of embossing powder - Ranger Leaf Green and Ranger Pink. I used a white pen to color alternating bits of leaves and petals with an opaque fill. I ran out of my favorite white pen, so I used an alternative, and it's just a wee tad more scratchy. So I'll be going back to my Signo pen! It's a lot more dramatic in person and I love the way it looks!
To the center of the card, I added a die-cut heart, cut using PTI's Limitless Layers: Stitched Hearts, speckled with Stampendous Rose Gold Embossing Enamel - which is soooo pretty and fun to use! I also added another vellum stitched heart frame, cut using the same die.
I added a stamped and embossed sentiment using an older PTI wedding set as well as the Pinkfresh
Sweet Treats stamp set.
I also added another sequin flower as well as a few Queen and Co posies.
So much fun playing with these! I'll also be featuring more cards with these gorgeous stamps in the weeks to come.
Thanks for visiting!
