Cold and wet with the wind getting up later. Few people out. Hoping for better weather for the Club trip to Torbay tomorrow...

Tormarton:
440+ Golden Plover just outside Tormarton on the Acton Turville road, also 6 Lapwing and a Buzzard. c.300 Common Gull in fields outside Codrington.
NORTH SOMERSET
Portishead:
The f. Blackcap has now taken over the fat feeder, driving smaller species away.
Uphill, 14th:
A few Teal, 4 Little Grebe, 2 Little Egret, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 1 Peregrine, a few Redshank, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Stonechat, 3 Song Thrush, 4 Reed Bunting.
BELOW M4 & BANES
Bath, Oldfield Park:
Lots of birds visiting my garden in Oldfield Park Bath including a very strange coloured blackbird. This bird was first seen last winter then disappeared, this is the first sighting since then.
RESERVOIRS
Blagdon Lake:
1 Great White Egret, 1 Little Egret, 1 Egyptian Goose, 1 ♀ Pintail, 1 ♀ Goosander, 2 Lapwing.
Chew Valley Ringing Station:
Jay, Siskin.
